Objective: to master the power adapter inspection standard, make the incoming quality better meet my company's quality requirements. Scope of application: power adapter used in the factory.
Testing instruments and equipment: a multimeter, voltage tester, insulation resistance tester, AC voltmeter (or oscilloscope), power meter, electronic load, variable frequency power supply, vernier calipers, gauge. The checking items and technical requirements
Appearance: shell without cracking, burr, deformation, scratches, stains, shrink phenomenon.
Metal parts without oxidation, mildew, stains, AC pins, DC plug loose. Line body no scald, scratch, smudgy, core wire breakage, no exposed.
Nameplate affixed content should be correct, nameplate affixed no upside down, the paste distortion, leakage, wrong paste, tilted phenomenon. Surface, a bottom shell gap cannot be greater than 1mm, with good, can not have loose phenomenon. Nameplate affixed or plastic shell engraving content correctly, the text clear, no typo, character. The shell and the line body silk screen clear, no typo, character. Structure size:
The structure size should be consistent with the requirements of technical specification or samples of raw materials.
The AC pin and DC plug: shall conform to the technical specifications or sample requirements of raw materials. Start checking:
Adapter internal components must be consistent with the sample. Element tin is good, no weld, solder.
PCB board without short circuit, open circuit, copper skin without warping.
Coil bandage undesirable phenomena without oxidation, loose, tilted etc.. Silicon steel sheet without oxidation, loose, tilt and other undesirable. The adapter should be no foreign body. Electrical properties: (see table)
High voltage test: after the following conditions test, should be no leakage, flying fox, breakdown. Primary to secondary: AC3000V, 60S, 5mA; AC3000V, 60S: primary on the shell, 5mA;
Insulation resistance: primary to secondary 500VDC, insulation resistance should be greater than 100M. DC transmission line: DC head no oxidation, no connection order disorder.
Aging: the aging test, the surface temperature can not exceed 65 DEG C, surface, a bottom shell without deformation, burning phenomenon. Each performance index within specifications.
Drop test: the drop test, the shell without rupture, plug without loosening, shed off the phenomenon, the electrical properties of normal. Flame retardant: shell through the flame retardant testing, materials can be flame retardant.
Test method: appearance: visual method. Structure: size measured with vernier caliper and plug gauge. Boot inspection: visual method (foreign body with a vernier caliper measurement).
Electrical properties: connected with the variable frequency power supply and electronic load, measure the input parameters with the power meter; AC millivoltmeter (or oscilloscope) test ripple, measured with a multimeter output voltage, current.
High voltage test: test voltage tester. Insulation resistance: insulation resistance tester.
DC transmission line: with special test frame or a multimeter to measure. Aging: with rated load electricity aging for 12 hours at room temperature.
Drop test: the adapter from the height of 1 meters of different direction of free fall three wooden floor.
Flame retardant testing: shall conform to the UL94 standard V-0 fire. Vertical burning test samples were two times of 10 seconds for the sample, the flame extinguished within 30 seconds, not combustion fall.
